Become a Member
Here is a quick run down on how to become a national SHPE member. Follow this guide and it will take you less than 5 minutes.
Step 1: Go to the OneShpe Portal and start the application process. Here is the direct link to the application:
Start the application that corresponds to your academic status.
Step 2: Click on Region 2 to select chapter details.
Step 3: Select the details about your application.
In the first drop down menu find:
Step 4: Select a Payment Option.
Step 5: Review you application, enter payment information, and submit you application.
After you submit your application you will receive an e-mail confirmation. ( sometimes instantly ) Once you have received the confirmation e-mail head over to OneSHPE Portal and create your account.

Hi,
It’s not letting me past the second step. I select SHPE at UCR and MEMBER and click next and it doesn’t go through.

Hi Estevan,
Are you applying as a student? If it’s not letting you get passed a certain step just wait until tomorrow and try again. There might be something wrong with their servers.

Hey Estevan,
I just tried it right now, and I got through to the information page ( Step 3 of the guide above ). Make sure you are actually clicking on the Green Section that shows Region 2. You should be able to get though. If you have any other issues filling out the application feel free to ask.
