The first week of school is over and it’s time to get back to business as usual. Hope everyone had an awesome winter break and that everyone is ready for an exciting Winter Quarter with SHPE!
Out first meeting will be held this Wednesday from 6-7PM in ENGR II 205/206. So for those who have never gone to a SHPE meeting, now is the time! We’ll be going over what we have done and what we plan on doing for the quarter! So anyone and everyone is welcome!
We will be discussing the following:
* Engineering Week Outreach Event with the MESA Program
* Deadlines for research opportunities at UCR concerning CAMP, UCLEADS, and others
* Team Building Activity this Saturday
* Our next fundraiser
* SHPE Soccer Team
* and more…
For those wondering about the SHPE Soccer Team, we’ll be giving priority to and only to SHPE members. We will not allow anyone to sign up during a game and we’ll be putting a cap on the amount of players. More details will be coming soon.
So why don’t you stop by and become part of an exciting professional society on campus? We’ll be waiting!
