Forget about pc gamepads

Why not use your ps2 game pads you should have laying around and hook them up to your computer? It’s relatively easy so don’t worry, it isn’t complicated at all. Took me about five minutes to set it up once I got everything.

You can also get dancepads to play Stepmania . Game similar to DDR. Works like a charm!

Does it really work?

Works fine for me, I simply connect either a ps2 controller or dance pad and I’m good to go.

So where do I get this stuff?

I bought 2 dance pads on eBay for $20 including shipping and the dual shooter for less than $20 on it as well.

If you don’t want to hassle with ebay you can try buying the dual shooter here.

You can also buy the dance pads at Game Stop, EBGames, and other popular retailers. They have to be for the ps2, since the dual shooter only connects these peripherals to your pc.

Believe it or not. If you want to avoid making a partition and installing Ubuntu and making a dual boot, here is your alternative. Instead, download andLinux and simply run your Windows and Linux programs side by side!

If you are currently under a restricted network where you can’t play online games such as Starcraft with your buddies. Why not download Hamachi and set a LAN ( Local Area Network ) so you may all connect directly with each other? No need for everyone to get on the server and find yourselves. Simply have

1. Everyone download Hamachi
2. Someone set up a server
3. Everyone else connects
4. Open up your favorite PC game and go to LAN game. Anyone can create a game, and everyone else should see the game appear! Just like on a network!
