Where to buy books

Not at the book store! Books are so overpriced at the bookstore, it isn’t funny. I’ve found books through friends with $100 differences. Heck, some people even let you borrow the book! When no one has the book, I usually go to Amazon, Half.com, Google, and even Ebay!

How do I find people with my book at my school?

Easiest way is to try and post it on the MySpace Forums for your specific university. Same with Facebook. Someone is bound to want to get rid of that book.

Alternatives?

Buy the international edition! Many books offer a cheaper international edition text book, same material, simply distributed in a different country. You may find copies on Amazon, Half, or anywhere else.
