I believe its a great alternative for those who want to try something new. You may even do a dual boot so you can decide to run either Ubuntu or WinXP during boot time.

duuuude, yeah, ubuntu is tight man. i had it for a while, but i just couldnt get wireless on it. everything else worked fine. it came with a lot of cool software, everything for free. it was awesome. i might do it again and find a way to get the wireless fixed
